One of my absolute favorite fanfics is My Lost Youth by Edward A. Masen.

It's about Edward and Carlisle's life after Edward was changed. It is written very well and explains the characters views in Twilight perfectly as if Stephanie was writing it herself. It's eleven chapters in and the author updates every couple of weeks or so.
